With over a decade of experience in
building e-commerce websites, gateways and websites that
just plain sell products we are pretty much experts at site
building.
But, we have not shared our knowledge
because it is what has made us money. There are few people that
will share the key to success if it actually works. But as we
have made millions of dollars in the shadows of webmasters that
seem to know everything but never make any money.
The jibberish they spew out has become the
biggest set of urban myths driving the internet and it making
hosting real websites almost impossible.
With every Tom dick and Harry thinking they
can open the next ebay for $10 and sell it in six months for 10
million dollars, we are always confronted with being the bad guys.
When we tell people the truth, they don't want to hear it, and
they will pay the unscrupulous webmaster thousands of dollars to
build them a "professional website". You know, the kind
that makes lots of money.
When they don't make any money, they call
us and ask for help. But it is usually too late. Many having
spent retirement funds and cashed in all their savings to keep
trying to make back what they already spent.
So we can either tell people they will get
rich quick if they buy our service or we can lose customers to
the people that will tell them what they want to hear.
Fortunately, there are enough reasonable
people out there that realize it aint as easy as 1, 2, 3.
